10 TikTok Post Ideas for Digital Product Creators

Are you on TikTok and trying to come up with post ideas to highlight your digital products? This list is for you. I love seeing all the cool “day in a life” style videos of shop owners who have physical products that you can showcase in a video and can’t help but feel like I got the short end of the stick. In this post I’m sharing 10 TikTok post ideas to help you showcase your amazing digital product offerings. Let’s dive in!

Design Process
The process behind designing your product. It could be an aesthetic-style video “over your shoulder” doing the design.

Hard Copy IRL
If it’s printable, get a hard copy and show how it can be used. You could even show a digital workbook being used on a laptop.

How to Use / Usage Tips
Tips on how to use the products for the best results. For example, for a goal-setting printable you could share tips on how to set strong goals.

Product Inspiration Story
The story behind the product. For example, if it’s a productivity product that was inspired by your way of working. How did you create something unique that solves a problem the viewer might have?

How to Customize
If it’s a template, show how the design can be modified. Alternatively, you could show how to customize the product further.

How to Access and Print
Sounds simple but this can highlight to the less tech-savvy users of the world just how easy it is to use (and reuse) your product. How to print or use products from your shop. Sounds easy, but I get a ton of questions on this!

The Product in a Daily Routine
A morning routine video using the product (for example snippets of getting ready for the day, sitting down with coffee, and opening the digital planner)

Content Tips
Content ideas, writing prompts, or thought starters for the product. For example, I have an Airbnb book and I did a TikTok on interesting content the owner could include, like a list of ways to unwind at the property.

What Problem the Product Solves
A post about a specific benefit of the product/how it could help your target audience. You can start the video with “If you struggle with ______, I’ve got the perfect solution!”

Sneak Peek
A peek into a mood board or upcoming design. This could be a good way to engage your audience (for example “what design do you like better, A or B? Tell me in the comments below!).
