130+ of the Best Canva Keywords Elements Organized by Niche and Design Style
Are you tired of typing endless Canva keywords into elements search bar trying to find the perfect design elements for your projects?
I’ve been there. And while it’s honestly pretty fun (there are so many amazing designs!), it can be a bit tricky to find the style you’re looking for.
After saving a bunch of my favorites over time, I’ve finally got them compiled into one master Canva keywords list with over 130 of the best Canva elements, organized by niche and design style. Whether you're working on a business presentation, a social media post, or a personal project, this post will help you save time and add a bit of flair to your designs.
As a business owner, I commonly use keywords on Canva elements for embellishing infographic-style Pinterest pins. I love the extensive icon library for this and will often create “listicle style” pins that have an icon related to the content for each section. If you’re using multiple icons, be sure to use a similar style or line weight.
With that said, let’s dive in!

Tips on Using Canva Elements in Your Designs
Keep your design consistent: Use elements from the same design style to maintain a consistent look throughout your design.
Be selective with elements: Too many elements can make your design look cluttered, so choose wisely. Use only what's necessary to communicate your message effectively.
Customize elements: You can easily change the color, size, and orientation of Canva elements to fit your brand
Save elements for later use: If you find elements you like, save them in your Canva library for future use.
Where to Find Canva Favorites: You favorite an element by putting your cursor over the element, clicking the “three dots” icon, and clicking the star icon. You can later find all of your saved elements by going to the “Starred” tab on the left panel of Canva.
Play around with layering: Experiment with layering elements to create depth and interest in your design. For example: a watercolor background makes a great focal point for text to shine!
Is Canva Elements Copyright Free?
Yes! From the Canva website, “At Canva, content can be either Free or Pro. You can use Free content at no cost – as the name suggests! Our Free and Pro Content licenses cover all of the content we offer – from photos, icons and illustrations, to videos, audio, fonts and templates.”
